This drive is used in securing tubular motors from the Somfy LT50/500 series to a 60mm octagonal axle. The drive is placed on the end of an LT50/500 motor and is used to secure the motor’s place within the axle, allowing for smooth controlled rotation. The companion piece for this part is the Somfy Crown 60mm LT50, Somfy Product Code: 9707025, a crown that slides over and secures the motor from the end of the axle.
